Product Overview

Important Features

① First connect the AC Cable to the AC Adaptor. Release the main body lock using Open/Close Slide locks to keep the rear cover

open and then connect DC Cable plug to the DC Plug inlet. Set the AC Adaptor to either Built-in or External (refer the previous

section) and close the rear cover, confirm the main body is firmly locked at the Open/Close Slide Locks. Then connect power

plug to the AC Socket.

※When the above condition does not happen even

when

power is

turned

on,

check

that

the

AC

and DC

Cables

are

fully

inserted

and

correctly

connected.

② After confirming the AC & DC Cables are correctly connected turn the power on. When the power is ON, the Power LED

lights and the display will show the empty battery mark indicating a battery is not connected.

③ Align the battery in the direction of the charge pins and insert the battery downwards along the slide guides so that the battery

and charger terminals meet and the battery locks firmly in position. When the battery and the LC-7S are correctly connected,

charging starts and the LCD display will show the corresponding charge status.

④ When the charge is complete remove the battery by sliding the battery upwards and in a straight direction along the slide

guides, during this operation be sure to hold both the battery and LC-7S firmly.

Instructions

Empty battery mark appears when no battery is connected but the power in on.

4 Channel Simultaneous charging, each channel has an independent charge control.

Each side of the LC-7S is equipped with a slide rail or a slide slot guide to allow multiple chargers to be neatly connected

together to form charging banks. To connect chargers together insert the slide rail of one charger into the slide guide of another

and slide into place keeping both chargers straight at all times. For separation follow the same procedure in reverse.

Be sure chargers are always separated before moving. Any load on the connection parts may cause damage.

7 level charge capacity LCD display panel enables immediate and easy confirmation of charge status.

There are two ways to use the supplied AC Adaptor, External (only the DC Cable is connected inside the charger body) or Built in

(AC Adaptor stored internally within the charger body) .

General Notes and Safety

Do not attempt to open or modify this unit. All work should be carried out by IDX authorised service personnel only.

Use only with compatible batteries listed in this manual. Charging non-compatible batteries may cause fire, electrical shock or other incidents.

When connecting a battery be sure to insert the battery into the battery socket or connector firmly.

When in use do not place anything on the charger and do not block ventilation holes. Use in a well ventilated area.

Do not expose to, use or place the unit in direct sunlight, extreme dust, water or other hazardous environments.

During charging the temperature of the charger will rise, this is normal and not a malfunction.

A short between the plus (+) and minus (-) charge pins may cause fire, electrical shock or other incidents. Make sure that the charge connector

does not touch any metal parts when a battery is not connected.

Stop charging immediately if the charging does not complete within the designated time. In case of abnormal smell, leak, colour change or

case deformity during use turn the power off and unplug the cable from the socket to avoid possible injury.

Only use the AC Cable and/or Adaptor included with the charger or ones specified. If fused confirm the fuse rating capacity before use.

For continued protection replace any fuses with specified type and rating.

Cooling Fan and Cut Off Function 【 Cooling Fan Operating Condition】

Cooling fan starts operating automatically when main body internal temperature rises to 50∼55℃ or above.

Cooling Fan Stop Condition 】

After fan operates it stops automatically when the main body internal temperature decreases to 45∼50℃ or below.

Cut Off Function 】

A further safety function will automatically turn the power off when the main body internal temperature rises to

85∼90℃ or above.

If the power is turned off by the cut off function, the LC-7S operation does not automatically recover. Disconnect the AC Cable from the AC Socket

and reconnect it after approx. 30 seconds to recover.
