Controls
1 Loudspeaker selectors 1 through 8 – Press the button in to listen
to the desired loudspeakers.
2 Single Pair Direct Switch – Impedance protection switch for the
amplifier/receiver. Use as directed in this owners manual.

Front Panel
3 Connection from amplifier – from the L(left) and R(right)
loudspeaker output of your receiver or amplifier (100 watts
MAX)
4 Loudpeaker Connections – connections to be made from the
QLS8.1 to the desired loudspeakers, with the corresponding
selector on the front panel.

The diagram below shows an overview of a typical system using 8 loudspeaker pairs.

Installation Tips
18 or 16 gauge stranded loudspeaker wire is recommended. 14 gauge is recommended for runs longer than 50 feet.
You can mix any combination of 4, 6, 8 and 16 ohm loudspeakers
Wire according to local laws. Specific "CL" fire rating may be required according to your local building codes. Your dealer may know
more about obtaining such wire.
Avoid running close to AC power wiring for safety and to avoid the possibility of picking up any noise.
