recent layouts

The most recent layouts you have used to print labels.

recently printed labels

Displays the last ten labels printed.

recently used label types

Displays the label types that you have used most recently. You do not need to
have saved or printed labels with these label types.

reference name

Name assigned to an object so that the object can be referenced when multiple
variable objects are on a single label. For example, when linking a barcode to a
specific object on a label, you use the reference name of the object in the barcode
properties.

saved labels

Labels that you have created and saved as label files.

SmartPaste

A quick way to print labels using data from other programs.

UCC/EAN 128

UCC/EAN 128 is used instead of EAN 8/EAN 13 when additional information
needs to be encoded.

UPC

Universal Product Code (UPC) is commonly used to identify retail products sold in
stores in the United States.

UPC-A

Universal Product Code (UPC) version A is commonly used to identify retail
products sold in stores in the United States. This code requires 12 digits: the first
digit represents the product type, the next five digits encode the manufacturer’s
UPC code, the next five digits represent the product code, followed by the
checksum digit. After you enter the 11 digits to be encoded, the program
automatically calculates the checksum for the 12th digit. This code requires
numeric information only.
