Fully-featured colour scanning.
The scanning function of course needs a PC,
but it is almost as simple as copying.
High-quality colour. The MultiPASS C75
uses 300 dpi optical scanning, that can be software
enhanced to the equivalent of 600 dpi.
It produces 24-bit colour and up to 256
grey scales, so photographic colours and tones are
extremely well defined. Scanned images can be
imported into many application programs so you
have fantastic colour images at your disposal.
Fax and OCR. The scanning function can
also be used to acquire black & white images for
subsequent faxing, or for OCR (optical character
recognition) to convert a printed page into an
electronic document. (Users must supply their
own OCR software.)
Desktop Manager included
Special software, called the MultiPASS Suite,
is a fully featured Windows application that
enables you to easily use the MultiPASS C75 from
your computer.
You can send and receive faxes, and store them
for latter viewing or printing. Scanned images can
be stored as thumb-nails in folders. You can even
automatically add a cover sheet to faxes.
Desktop Manager can be used to keep an
address book of frequently faxed numbers, and,
even lets you take advantage of a feature called
delayed transmission to save money on off-peak
telephone rates.
Dual interface.
The parallel may be used with Windows ® 95,
Windows ® 98, Windows NT ® , Windows ® 2000 and
Windows ® Me. USB port may be used with
Windows ® 98, Windows ® 2000
and Windows ® Me. Network
printing via Windows NT, ®
Windows ® 2000 server editions
and Mac ® OS not supported.
Canon Customer Care.
The MultiPASS C75 features a one year
warranty, which can be upgraded to three years and
is backed by Canon’s Customer Care hot-line
support. Drivers are also available from the Canon
website – www.canon.com.au
With a PC the MultiPASS C75 is a multi-function product with colour
scanning, photo-quality printing and management software.
Delayed Transmission sends faxes later to take
advantage of off-peak telephone rates. (PC required)
Address Book. Keep track of individuals or groups
to whom you repeatedly send faxes.
Dual Interface.
