4. Connect the med gas and electrical sources to the terminations on the headwall (see
Figure 7
and
Figure 8
).
a. The unit should be mounted in such a way that the
front of the unit protrudes 5/8" from the drywall
surface (see
Figure 5
). (E.g. If a 5/8" drywall is being
used, the front of the unit should be 1-1/4" from the
stud face.)

b. Ensure that the mounting location corresponds to the on-site rough-in locations.
c. Once the headwall is in the correct position, attach the headwall to the studs using the slots on the
side and the frame provided with the unit. (see
Figure 6
) Use hardware that is compliant with ap-
plicable local building codes.
