8.3.17 Search Function for Individual Tests
The search function can be used only if the test data has previously been uploaded to the ‘TERRATEST
2.0’ program. Activate the search function by clicking on the ‘SEARCH’ button on top of the list which
shows all uploaded tests. A search is possible only for the description fields ‘CONSTRUCTION PROJECT’,
‘COMMENTS’ and ‘GPS COORDINATES’. This function enables locating all tests that have been saved
with the exact search term in these fields. For example, this function may be used to list all the tests which
have been performed on a certain construction site.
The search can be refined by adding more filters. To do this, check the relevant box in front of the filter
category and enter the search term in the description field behind the filter category. Up to three search
terms can be combined with each other.
As shown above, it is possible to switch the single search terms ‘COMMENTS’, ‘CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT’, ‘GPS COORDINATES’ on and off by checking the respective boxes. If more than one search
term is selected, only tests that match ALL search criteria will be listed. To activate the filter after entering
the search words, click the button ‘ACTIVATE SEARCH’. All tests that match the search criteria will then
be listed. To deactivate the filter, click the button ‘CANCEL SEARCH’.
The search function is deactivated (greyed out) while tests are marked for editing or added to the statistical
analysis.
After clicking on the ‘SEARCH’ button the filter function will open.
