General
This equipment is designed to remove samples from molds and tubes and consists
of the following main components:
• A frame consisting of bottom channel, uprights and top casting.
• A hydraulic jack with handle.
• A plastic plate with collar.
• A set of 4 ejection disks and 3 ejection rings.
An ejection force of up to 3 tons can be applied with the hydraulic jack allowing for rapid
removal of samples with minimum damage.
Operation
Place and attach the proper size ejection disc for the mold or tube onto the jack piston
rod and insert the matching ejection ring into the top casting using the key notches to
retain it by twisting approximately 30 degrees.
Place the mold with sample into the disk and raise the jack to bring the mold into
engagement with the top ring. Continue applying force by operating the jack handle
to push the sample from the mold.
Maintenance
Inspect the oil fill hole and maintain oil level to the bottom of the screw hole with jack
in the upright position. Use hydraulic jack oil available in local auto supply stores
