Do not clean any part of the system with benzene, paint thinner or any
other solvent.

Do not spill liquids of any kind onto the unit.

The navigation system utilizes a database stored in a special format on a
CD. It is recommended always to use the latest update of this map CD.
• The navigation system will only work with CDs specifically intended

for your navigation system.

• Always store the map CDs in their protective cases when not in use.
Cleaning map discs

Note: Ensure that you handle the high density digital map discs with
care and by the edges only. Fingerprints, smudges and scratches on the
disc can affect Navigation System performance.

1. Ensure that you use a soft, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth.

2. DO NOT clean the disc in a circular motion as this may harm the pits
on the surface of the disc.

3. In order to minimize any scratching, wipe the disc with the cloth from
the inner hub to the outside of the disc.

4. DO NOT use any type of liquid cleaning solutions on the discs.

Map coverage

Please refer to the Navigation System Quick Start Guide for individual
map CD content details.

CDs contain map data for all of the continental United States and parts
of Canada. In some less populated areas, even though a map is displayed,
map data may be incomplete (does not contain one-way street
information, turn restrictions, speed limits, etc.) In these cases, the
system will alert the driver and route guidance directions on the display
are highlighted in “cautionary” yellow.
