Programming to a CD Drive

IDM allows you to program your data directly to a CD. The media supported by IDM are CD-R
(blank only) and CD-RW (blank or formatted) discs. When inserting a blank disc, you will get a
pop-up message from Windows offering blank CD options. Please disregard this message.
IDM will format the disc for you.

1. Insert a CD into the computer. If the CD is a valid* drop target, it will be displayed in the

Update Options area of the application. If the CD is blank, IDM will format it to CDFS in
order to be read by the DMU.
