1. Read instructions-All the safety and operating instructions

should be read before the appliance is operated.

2. Retain instru c t i o n s - The safety and operating instru c t i o n s

should be retained for future reference.

3. Heed Warnings-All warnings on the appliance and in the

operating instructions should be adhered to.

4. Fo l l ow Instructions-All operating and use instru c t i o n s

should be followed.

5. Cleaning-Unplug this product from the wall outlet before

cl e a n i n g. Do not use liquid cl e a n e rs or aerosol cl e a n e rs .
Use a damp cloth for cleaning.

6. Attachments-Do not use attachments not recommended by

the product manufacturer as they may cause hazards.

7. Water and Moisture-Do not use this product near water-for

ex a m p l e, near a dath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or
laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool,
and the like.

8. Accessories-Do not place this product on an unstable cart,

s t a n d, tri p o d, or tabl e. The product may fall, causing
s e rious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to
the appliance. Use only with a cart,. stand, tripod, bracket,
or table recommended by the manu fa c t u re r, or sold with
product. Any mounting of the appliance should follow the
m a nu fa c t u rer's instructions, and sholud use a mounting
accessory recommended by the manufacturer.

9. Ventilation-Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided

for ve n t i l ation and to ensure re l i able operation of the
p roduct and to protect it from ove r h e at i n g, and these
openings must not be bl o cked or cove re d. The openings
should never be blocked by placting the product on a bed,
s o fa, ru g, or other similar surfa c e. This product should
n ever be placed near or over a ra d i ator or heat regi s t e r.
This product should not be placed in a built-in installation
s u ch as a bookcase or ra ck unless proper ve n t i l ation is
p rovided or the manu fa c t u rer's instructions have been
adhered to.

10. Power sources-This product should be operated only from

the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If
you are not sure of the type of power supply to yo u r
h o m e, consult your appliance dealer or local powe r
company.

11. Grounding or Polarization-This product is equipped with

a polari zed altern at i n g - c u rrent line plug (a plug hav i n g
one blade wider than the other). This piug will fit into the
power outlet only one way. This is safety feature. If you
a re unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try
reve rsing the plug. If this should still fail to fit, contact
your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not
defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

12. Powe r- C o rd Pro t e c t i o n - Power supply cords should be

routed so that they are not like ly to be wa l ked on or
p i n ched by intems placed upon or against them, pay i n g
p a rt icular att enti on to cords at plugs, conve n i e n c e
re c ep t a cles, and the point wh e re they exit from the
appliance.

13. P ro t e c t ive Attachment Plug-The appliance is equipped

with an attachment plug having overload protection. This
is a safety fe at u re. See Instruction Manual fo r
repl acement or r esett ing of pro t e c t ive dev i c e. I f
replacement of the plug is re q u i re d, be sure the serv i c e
t e chnician has used a replacement plug specified by the
manufacturer that has the same overload protection as the
original plug.

14. L i g h t n i n g - For added protection for this product duri n g

lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused
for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet.
This will prevent dama ge to the product due to lightning
and power-line surges.

15. O ve rloading-Do not ove rload wall outlets and ex t e n s i o n

cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

16. Object and Liquid Entry-Never push objects of any kind

into this product through openings as they may touch
d a n ge rous vo l t age points or short-out parts that could
result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any
kind on the product.

17. S e rvicing-Do not attempt to service product yo u rself as

opening or re m oving cove rs may expose you to
dangerrous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to
qualified sersonnel.

18. Damage Requiring Service-Unplug this product from the

wall outlet and re fer servicing to qualified serv i c e
personnel under the following conditions:

a. When the power-supply cord or plug is damage.
b. If liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the

product.

c. If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
d. If the product dose not operate norm a l ly by fo l l ow i n g

the operating instructions. Adjust only those contro l s
t h at are cove rd by the operating instructions as an
i m p roper adjustment of other, controls may result in
d a m age and will often re q u i re ex t e n s ive wo rk by a
qualified technician to restore the product to its normal
operation.

e. If the product has been dropped or cabinet has been

damaged.

f. When t he product exhibi ts a disti nct ch a n ge in

perfromance-this indicates need for service.
