Der Zähler subtrahiert von der vorgewählten Zahl und löst
bei Erreichen der Zahl Null (bzw. bei Umschaltung auf 99999
- siehe unter Vorkontakt) einen Umschaltkontakt aus.
1. Rückstellhebel (1) drücken und festhalten.
2. Gewünschte Zahl (2) in beliebiger Reihenfolge
eintasten.
3. Rückstellhebel langsam zurückführen.
Bei Ausführung mit Zylinderschloss müssen vor Beginn die
Tasten entriegelt werden.
Einmaliges Betätigen des Rückstellhebels (bzw. der
Rückstelltaste) genügt, um den gleichen Zählvorgang zu
wiederholen.
Der Steuerkontakt bleibt bis zur Rückstellung erhalten - Dau-
erkontakt. Der Kontakt ist als Umschaltkontakt vorgesehen,
d.h. ein Stromkreis wird geöffnet und ein zweiter Stromkreis
gleichzeitig geschlossen.
Bei der Ausführung mit Vorkontakt wird der Endkontakt erst
bei Umschaltung von Null auf 99999 ausgelöst, d.h. es ist
eine Zahl weniger vorzuwählen.

Der Vorkontakt arbeitet als Dauerkontakt - bleibt bis zur
Rückstellung erhalten.

Der Zähler arbeitet wartungsfrei. Um eine dauernde, ein-
wandfreie Funktion zu gewährleisten, ist eine schonende
Behandlung dieses feinmechanischen Gerätes unbedingte
Voraussetzung.
Wird der Zähler zur Steuerung von Maschinen oder Ablauf-
prozessen benützt, bei denen infolge Ausfalls des Zählers
eine Beschädigung der Maschine oderein Unfall des Be-
dienungspersonals möglich ist, dann müssen zusätzliche
Sicherheitsvorkehrungen getroffen werden.

Achtung
Bei der Installation und beim Gebrauch des Zählers sind
die einschlägigen Unfallverhütungsvorschriften einzuhalten.
Während der Montage am Gerät unbedingt Netzversorgung
abschalten!
Beachte The counter subtracts from the preset figure down to
zero where a contact switch is released. For knock-off at
99999 refer to particulars under the heading `Preliminary
Contact`.
1. Depress lateral reset lever (1) and hold.
2. Set the desired figure by means of the individual push
buttons (2) on the counter face (sequence immaterial).
3. Return reset lever slowly to its original position.
If a tumbler lock is provided this must be opened before
setting.
By depressing the reset lever once, the counter is automa-
tically set for a repetition of the preset cycle.
The final contact remains off normal until the counter is reset
(permanent contact). This is a contact switch (single pole,
double throw) making a circuit and breaking imultaneously
a second circuit of the same voltage.
If the counter is equipped with a fixed, unchangeable pre-
contact (permanent contact remaining off normal until the
counter is reset), the final contact will occur between 00000
and 99999. Therefore, one number less than desired has to
be preset for correctness.

The counters do not require any particular attention. Howe-
ver, for reliable functioning of these precision instruments
careful handling is absolutely necessary.

When a counter is used to control a machine or manufactu-
ring process damage may be caused to the machine or the
operator if the counter failed to operate. For this reason the
following safety precautions should be noted.
On installing and using the counter the prevailing rules for
the prevention of accidents should be observed. During
installation care should be taken to ensure that the power
has positively been switched off.
