To replace a power supply in a storage system using two power supplies (primary and
redundant), perform the following procedures.

NOTE: Some components of the Dell PowerVault 2xxS storage system are hot-
pluggable. If one power supply provides power to the storage system, you can
install or remove another power supply while the system is turned on.

1.

Turn off the power switch on the power supply.

2.

Disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet and the power supply.

3.

Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, turn the two captive screws counterclockwise
to release the power supply from the power-supply bay.
