Installing Software
Use the appropriate software installation procedure, depending on your computer’s
operating system.
In Windows 98 SE/Me/
2000/XP
1. Insert the Sound Blaster Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the drivers and applications
installation.
A dialog box appears prompting you to restart your computer.
3. Click the Finish button to restart your computer.
In Windows 98 SE/Me, if
Windows detects the new
hardware and prompts you to
install the USB device drivers,
click the Cancel button.
For Windows 98 SE systems,
the Windows 98 SE
Installation CD is required
during installation.
