TROUBLESHOOTING

Are you having trouble with your Fairy Talkies?

If one of your Fairy Talkies headsets won’t turn on or send sounds, or the

sound is garbled, try installing a new 9-volt battery.

CHANGING THE BATTERY
Need to change the battery? Ask an adult to get a new 9-volt battery and follow
these instructions. (9-volt batteries can usually be found in the photo and electronics
sections of major retailers, pharmacies, and supermarkets.)
1. Turn your headset over and unscrew the battery cover.
2. Insert the battery as indicated.
3. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.

BATTERY SAFETY
• Do not put the battery in backwards. Positive (+) and negative (-) ends must be inserted

in the correct directions following the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment.

• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed before recharging.
• Rechargeable batteries must be recharged by an adult only.
• Batteries must be installed and removed by an adult only.
• Remove exhausted batteries and dispose of them properly.
• Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• The supply terminal is not to be short-circuited.
