For your own protection from injuries
and electric shocks, the following infor-
mation must be observed when using
electrical equipment:
READ ALL THE INSTRUcTIONS
bEfORE USING
THE AppLIANcE!
• Only use the appliance to straighten
hair.
• In order to prevent damage to
the hair, ensure that there are no
chemical residues in the hair after
perming or coloring.
• Only connect the appliance to an
alternating voltage. Note the rated
voltage.
• Handle with care! Risk of burns!
The heating plates and the appliance
will be hot both during and directly
after use. Never allow the heating
elements to come into contact with
the skin, scalp or eyes!
• Do not touch the heated device
except on the special thermal insula-
tions made of special material ( f).
• Always keep the heating elements
away from heat-sensitive surfaces.
• Never touch electrical appliance that
has fallen into water. Disconnect
from the mains immediately.
• Immediately disconnect from the
mains after use.
• Disconnect from the mains before
cleaning the appliance.
• Never allow the appliance to come
into contact with water or other
liquids. When switched either on or
off, keep the appliance away from
bathtubs, showers, areas of high
humidity and water-filled containers!
• Only use and store the appliance in
dry rooms.
• Never use the appliance with wet
hands or feet.
• Never use the appliance when
barefoot.
• If the appliance is defective, discon-
nect from the mains immediately.
• Never use the appliance if the mains
cable is damaged. Similarly, do not
use the appliance if it is not func-
tioning correctly, if it is damaged or
has fallen into water. In these cases,
send the appliance to our Service
Center for inspection and repair.
Only specialists properly trained
in the handling of electrotechnical
devices may repair electrical equip-
ment.
This appliance is not suitable for
use by people (including children)
with physical, sensory or mental
disabilities or who do not have the
relevant experience or knowledge of
using such appliance, unless under
the supervision of or after having
received instruction in the use of the
appliance by an individual who is
responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure they
do not play with the appliance.
• Only use the appliance for the pro-
per use as described in the operating
instructions.
• When disconnecting the appliance
from the mains, never pull on the
mains cable or on the appliance
itself.
• Do not hold the appliance by the

INfORmATION mains cable when carrying it and do
not use the cable as a handle.
• Keep the mains cable away from hot
surfaces.
• Do not wind the mains cable around
the appliance.
• Make sure that the mains cable is
not twisted or kinked when stored.
• Never use the appliance where aero-
sol (spray) products are being used
or where oxygen is released.
• To prevent injury, never use the
appliance if the heating elements are
damaged.
• The installation of a residual current
device (safety switch) is recommen-
ded to provide additional safety
protection when using electrical
appliances. It is advisable that a
safety switch with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding
30mA be installed in the electrical
circuit supplying the appliance. See
your electrician for professional
advice.
• Dispose of unusable appliance in ac-
cordance with the legal provisions of
the country in which the appliance
was purchased.
• We are not liable for damage caused
as a result of improp er use or failure
to observe these operating instruc-
tions.
• The appliance is safety insulated and
radio screened. It meets the require-
ments of EU Directive 20041108/EC
regarding electromagnetic compati-
bility and EC Low Voltage Directive
2006195/EC.
OpERATION
• Connect to the mains power supply.
• Switch on the appliance using
the on/off switch (Fig. 1).
• Red LED lights up.
• The appliance reaches operating
temperature within a very short time.
• After use, switch off the appliance
using the on/off switch (Fig. 1).
The operating light goes off.
• Disconnect from the mains power
supply.
• Allow the appliance to cool down.
• Included in the box of your hair
straightener is a storage bag which
is lined with heat-resistant material
on the inside. You can store your
hair straightener securely in this
bag even when it is still hot after
use. However, when doing so, it
is essential that you store the hot
device in one compartment and the
cable in the other compartment. Do
not under any circumstances allow
the cable to come into contact with
the hot hair straightener; this may
cause the insulation of the cable to
melt and suffer damage. Never use
the hair straightener if the cable is
damaged.
cERAmIc cOATING
The coated heating plates have an anti-
static effect and are gentle to the hair.
TIpS fOR SUccESSfUL
STYLING
• Wash hair, rinse and dry well.
• Brush or comb hair.
• Section off individual strands of hair.
• At the hairline, place a section of
hair between the heating plates.
• Keep the straightener pressed to-
gether for a few seconds and slowly
pull it down the section of hair away
from the head.
Note: Do not leave the sections of hair
in the straightener for more than a few
seconds, otherwise this could damage
the hair.
• Open the straightener and allow
the section of hair to slip out.
• Repeat the prodedure until the
desired result has been achieved.
cLEANING AND cARE
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water.
• Before cleaning the appliance,
disconnect from the mains and
allow it to cool down.
• Only wipe the appliance with a soft
or slightly damp cloth. Do not use
solvents or scouring agents!

Si raccomanda di seguire attentamente
le seguenti avvertenze durante I’uso di
dispositivi elettrici, onde garantire la

ISTRUzIONI!
• Utilizzare l’apparecchio esclusiva-
mente per stirare capelli.
• Per evitare danni al capello, accertar-
si che nei capelli non siano presenti
sostanze chimiche utilizzate per
permanenti o tinte.
• Collegare l’apparecchio soltanto
alla tensione alternata. Osservare
la tensione nominale indicata sulla
targhetta.
• Attenzione! Pericolo di ustioni!
Le piastre e I’apparecchio sono
molto caldi durante l’uso e subito
dopo. Mai portare le piastre calde a
contatto con la pelle, cuoio capelluto
o gli occhi!
• Maneggiare l’apparecchio caldo solo
con gli appositi isolamenti termici in
materiale speciale ( f).
• Tenere sempre lontano le piastre da
superfici sensibili al calore.
• Non toccare in nessun caso un dis-
positivo elettrico caduto nell’acqua.
• Dopo l’uso dell’apparecchio, provve-
dere immediatamente a staccare la
spina dalla rete.
• Prima della pulizia dell’apparecchio,
staccare la spina.
• L’apparecchio non deve essere mai
portato a contatto con l’acqua o
con altri liquidi. Tenere lontano
l’apparecchio, sia quando è in funzi-
one, sia quando a spento, da vasche
da bagno, docce, luoghi molto umidi
e da recipients pieni d’acqua!
• L’apparecchio deve essere usato e
conservato solo in ambienti asciutti.
• Non toccare mai l’apparecchio con
mani o piedi bagnati.
• Mai utilizzare l’apparecchio a piedi
nudi.
• In caso di difetto dell’apparecchio
staccare subito la spina elettrica.
• Mai utilizzare l’apparecchio con un
cavo di rete danneggiato. Mai utiliz-
zare l’apparecchio se non funziona
correttamente, se è danneggiato o
se è caduto nell’acqua. In questi casi
far pervenire l’apparecchio al nostro
service center per il controllo e la
riparazione. Gli apparecchi elettrici
devono essere riparati esclusiva-
mente da personale specializzato
con formazione elettrotecnica.
Questo apparecchio non è destinato
all’impiego da parte di persone
(ivi inclusi anche i bambini) con
ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali
o psichiche o, ancora, che non
abbiano esperienza o competenza
nell’uso del medesimo, a meno che
non vengano sorvegliati o ricevano
istruzioni sull’uso dell’apparecchio da
una persona che responsabile della
loro sicurezza. Sorvegliare i bambini,
onde accertare che non utilizzino
l’apparecchio come un giocattolo.
• Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo per gli
usi previsti e consentiti dalle indicazi-
oni d’uso.
• Non scollegare mai l’apparecchio
tirando cavo di rete o l’apparecchio
stesso.
• Non utilizzare cavo di rete come ma-
niglia o impiegarlo per il trasporto
del dispositivo.
• Tenere cavo di alimentazione lonta-

• Non avvolgere cavo di rete intomo
all’apparecchio.
• Non conservare dispositivo con il
cavo di rete torto su se stesso o
piegato.
• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio in
ambienti in cui vengono impiegati
prodotti in spray o per aerosol o, an-
cora, in cui venga liberato ossigeno.
• Per evitare incidenti, mai utilizzare
l’apparecchio se le piastre sono
danneggiate.
• Quando si utilizzano apparecchi
elettrici, si consiglia di prevedere
l’inserimento di un dispositivo per
corrente residua (interruttore di
sicurezza) come protezione acces-
soria di sicurezza. Si raccomanda
di installare sul circuito elettrico di
alimentazione dell’apparecchio un
interruttore di sicurezza con corrente
residua operativa non superiore
a 30 mA. Si prega di rivolgersi ad
un elettricista per una consulenza
professionale.
• Smaltire gli apparecchi fuori uso se-
condo le norme vigenti nel paese in
cui l’apparecchio a stato acquistato.
• II produttore non risponde di danni
derivati da un uso improprio del
dispositivo o dalla violazione delle
presenti avvertenze.
• L’apparecchio a isolato e schermato.
Soddisfa requisiti della direttiva UE in
materia di compatibilità elettroma-
gnetica 2004/108/CE e la direttiva
sulla bassa tensione 2006/95/CE.
fUNzIONAmENTO
• Collegare la spina alla press di corrente.
• Usare l’interruttore on/off per accen-
dere l’apparecchio (Fig. l).
• Si accende it LED rosso.
• In brevissimo tempo l’apparecchio
raggiunge la temperatura di esercizio.
• Dopo l’uso usare l’interruttore on/off
per spegnere I’apparecchio (Fig. l).
La spia di funzionamento si spegne.
• Staccare la spina.
• Lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio.
• In dotazione con la piastra per
capelli è compresa una custodia
rivestita internamente con materiale
resistente al calore. La potrete utiliz-
zare per riporre l’apparecchio dopo
l’uso, anche se ancora caldo. Fate
attenzione in questo caso a riporre
l’apparecchio caldo in uno scompar-
to e il cavo nell’altro e assicuratevi
che il cavo non venga mai a contatto
con la piastra calda, per evitare di
fondere il materiale isolante del cavo
e di provocare danni. Non accendere
la piastra per capelli se il cavo è
danneggiato.
RIvESTImENTO cON cERAmIcA
Le piastre rivestite hanno funzione anti-
statica e sono delicate sui capelli.
INDIcAzIONI pER UNO
STYLING pERfETTO
• Lavare, sciacquare bene e asciugare
i capelli.
• Spazzolare o pettinare I capelli.
• Separare singole ciocche di capelli.
• Posizionare la ciocca di capelli sepa-
rata tra le piastre in corrispondenza
della base.
• Tenere premuto l’apparecchio per
alcuni secondi e farlo scivolare len-
tamente lungo la ciocca in direzione
opposta alla testa.
Avvertenza: Non tenere la ciocca di capelli
per più di alcuni secondi nell’apparecchio,
altrimenti si possono arrecare danni ai
capelli.
• Aprire l’apparecchio per liberare la
ciocca di capelli.
• Ripetere la procedura fino ad ottenere
risultato voluto.
pULIzIA E mANUTENzIONE
• Non immergere l’apparecchio
nell’acqua
• Prima di pulire l’apparecchio
staccare la spina elettrica e lasciarlo
raffreddare.
• Pulire l’apparecchio solo con uno
straccio morbido, eventualmente
un po’ umido. Non utilizzare solventi
e abrasivi!
