水平対向エンジンはチューニングを進めていくとタイミングベルトの振動が激しくなり、最悪の場合タイミング
ベルトのコマ飛びが発生し、バルブとピストンの干渉を誘発します。
TOMEIベルトガイドは純正エンジンのベルトガイドでは不足している強度をアルミ削り出しとする事で確保
し、表面に硬質アルマイトを施すことでベルトの背当たりによるガイド摩耗を防ぎます。
また、ガイド部分を延長する事によりベルトの振動を抑制します。

With the horizontally opposed flat engine layout, tuning with the timing belt and its harsh vibrations from
the engine can lead to cause the timing belt to dismount the stock belt guide which can lead to
catastrophic results with the valves and piston colliding with each other.
The TOMEI engine belt guide is a light weight strengthened design
Made from billet aluminum. Hard anodized in Black for minimal wear to the belt and also for looks.
The belt guide has been extended to help minimise belt vibration.
