シリンダーヘッドとシリンダーブロックの結合は強固に行うことで、冷却、剛性、シール性など
ヘッドガスケットに要求される性能を確保する必要があります。但し、一般のボルト・ナットでの結合では
その特性上どのような高強度ボルトを用いても、締付力がネジの第１山から３山に集中し、トータルの
締付力は、 ある 値以上に増やせま せん。 ま た過大な応力がそこ に集中し 破損する こ と も
あります。スタッドボルト式では、ネジの力学的設計からネジ山全てで締付力を分担し、強大な締付力を
発生します。

Thank you for purchasing a TOMEI product.
This product will ensure the Cylinder Head and Block are held together correctly at all times
when needed which will greatly aid the cooling of the engine and improve efficiency with the right
sealing characteristics of the Head Gasket. Regular bolts only maintains clamping force on the
initial 3 threads so this problem makes it harder to maintain the correct clamp loads required for
the total tightening power above a certain value. Under excessive stress conditions these can
break and cause damage. The Stud Bolt formula is responsible for all the threads clamping force
from the mechanical design of the screw in which it was designed for which will give the
appropriate clamp forces required.
