MANUAL SEARCH A STATION TO RECEIVE A WEAK BROADCAST SIGNAL

Press the “UP/F-SKIP”(7)or “DOWN/B-SKIP”(6) button by one press at a time to adjust the frequency that you wish to receive.

FM STEREO BROADCAST RECEPTION

“STEREO” display will light when a

stereo broadcasting station is receiver.

PRESETTING METHOD

20 broadcast stations of FM band and 12 stations of AM band can be stored to the preset memory.

a) During tuner mode, by using the auto search

or manual search methods to find a desired

broadcasting station or any desired frequency.

b) Press “MEMORY”(10) key to

make the channel display “_” appear.

c) Press “REPEAT=(PRESET)” key to choose the

desired channel

d) press “MEMORY”(10) again, then the

desired station is stored in channel 1.

e) Repeat steps (a) to (d) for storing the various broadcast station to other channels or modifying the present channel.
f) To change the broadcast station of a certain channel to a different channel (Example; Change the 1422 kHZ broadcast

station from channel 6 to channel 8)

Press the “REPEAT=(PRESET)” key or the

numerical key to call the broadcast station of

the channel that you wish to change.

(EXAMPLE: Channel 6)

Press “MEMORY” (10) key to the presetting mode

and the channel display “__” appear.

Press “REPEAT=(PRESET)” to change

the channel

(EXAMPLE: Channel 6 to Channel 8)

Press the “MEMORY”(10) once more, 1422kHZ

is set to channel 8.

NOTE: The original memory of channel 6 will not be change during above operations.

Put a disc inside and then press the

“OPEN/CLOSE” (18) key one time to close the tray.

After that, reading TOC will start.

TO PLAY THE DISC

Press “PLAY/PAUSE”(19) to play the CD

(After reading TOC, the disc can start to play anytime.)

TO PAUSE THE PLAYING

Press “PLAY/PAUSE” (19) during the disc is playing,

the playing time will flash.

One more press the “PLAY/PAUSE” (19) key will cancel

the pause condition.

TO STOP THE DISC

Press “STOP”(20) key

TO SPECIFY A TRACK TO PLAY

a) Press “UP/F-SKIP”(7) or “DOWN/B-SKIP”(6) to

choose a desired track.( Example: The 3rd track)

Each press will change the track number by one.

b) If the CD is stop and the “PLAY/PAUSE”(19) key is

pressed, the CD will start to play from track 3. If the

CD is playing, several seconds after “UP/F-SKIP” (7)

or “DOWN/B-SKIP” (6) is released, the CD will start

to play from track 3.

(During the CD playing condition, holding down the button will result in fast forward search or fast backward search.)

FAST FORWARD AND FAST BACKWARD

Hold down the “UP/F-SKIP” (7) or “DOWN/B-SKIP” (6) button during play.
When the button is held down, there will be a continuous change of CD track’s position.
This change of position can be performed even during pause.

TO CHECK THE REMAINING TIME OF THE DISC

Press ”REMAIN” (12) one time during the disc is playing, then the

display will show the remaining time of the entire disc.

If press two more times of the keys, the display will return

to the original condition.

REPEAT PLAYING

Press “REPEAT”(9) key one time,“ONE-TRACK REPEAT” will be active.

With one more, “ALL-TRACK REPEAT” will be active.

With one further press, the repeat mode is cancelled.

PROGRAM PLAYING

a) In CD mode, Press “MEMORY”(10) key one time.

b) Specify a track to play with “UP/F-SKIP”(7) or

“DOWN/B-SKIP”(6) . (This can also be done with

the numerical keypad in the remote control.)

c) Pressing “MEMORY” (10) one time, then track 4 is stored into the

program 1 position. Step (a) to (C) can be used to store

up to 16 tracks into the program or modified the existing program.

d) Pressing “PLAY/PAUSE”(19) key to play the program.

e) Press “STOP” (20) when you wish to stop the play.

NOTE: If the program is already exist, press the “MEMORY”

and then press the “PLAY/PAUSE”(19) key, the program play will start.

The program will be cleared when the tray is opened or when the lid is opened.

CLEAR THE PROGRAM

Pressing the “MEMORY”(10) key one time and then press the “STOP” (20) key, the preset programs will be cancelled.

INTRO PLAY FUNCTION

a) During the stop condition, pressing the “INTRO”(8) key to start

the into playing. After that the first 10 seconds of each song

will be played.

b) If the “INTRO” (8) key is pressed again,

the CD will change to the normal playing mode.

RANDOM PLAY FUNCTION

A) Press ‘RANDOM’ (17) key during CD playing or stop condition.

(Press once again will cancel the function)

B) If the CD is under stop condition, press the ‘PLAY/PAUSE’ (19)

key to start the random playing.

C) If the CD is playing, the random playing will start in next song.

Note: Once the CD program is set, the random function can not

be activated before the program is cleared.

TUNER FUNCTION

Note: The type of reception bands, the frequency step, and the upper and lower limits of the

receiving frequency are depended on the specifications of different area.

AUTO SEARCHING A STATION

During the tuner mode, press “TUNER”(3) to

select the desired reception band.

Press “UP/F-SKIP”(7) or “DOWN/B-SKIP”(6) key, and then release

the button when the fast scanning start.The frequency will continue

to change and will automatically stop when a broadcast station is received.

NOTE:If the “UP/F-SKIP”(7)or “DOWN/B-SKIP”(6) key is pressed during auto searching, the searching will stop at that point.

When the frequency display pass through the upper limit or the lower limit, it will automatically changes to the lower

or the upper limit, respectively.
