We recommend that this performance part be installed by a qualified

motorcycle technician. If you have any doubts as to your ability to install this

performance part, please consult with your local motorcycle dealer. Read all

instructions first before starting installation. Make sure the motorcycle and

exhaust system are completely cool before starting the installation. Also,

make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand or ideally a service lift during

installation. Be sure to save all stock components for possible use later.

1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before starting the

installation. Make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand
or ideally a service lift.

2. Remove rear under-belly cover.

3. Remove left and right stock exhaust canisters, retain OEM

hardware for TBR installation.

4. Attach the V.A.L.E. X-Rings over the slip-on tubes and loosely

attach to the TBR muffler canisters, using the 6x20mm screws
and the supplied split lock washers. The slip-on tubes are
different - one left and one right. The left tube has more of a
bend at the joint.

5. Slide the supplied rubber-lined muffler canister clamps

over the TBR muffler canisters. Place the supplied barrel
clamp around the end of the TBR slip-on tube, slide the
slip-tube onto the stock collector.

6. Attach the muffler canisters to the bike using the OEM

hardware.

7. Check to be sure that both exhausts are positioned and

aligned correctly. Once you are satisfied with the position
of the exhaust, tighten the V.A.L.E. X-Ring, then the barrel
clamp followed lastly by the muffler canister clamp.

10. Remove rubber grommits that are not being used.

11. Before you run the bike, clean off all fingerprints and

dirt, as any oily residue will etch the metal and become
somewhat permanent when the system gets hot. After 50
to 100 miles, recheck all fasteners for tightness.
