Dubbing Selections in a Specified Order

— RMS Dubbing (TC-VVR545 only)

Follow this procedure to dub selections being played back from an RMS program. Note that
RMS dubbing takes place only at normal playback speed.

Insert cassettes into both tape decks.

While the tape is stopped, press RMS/

START.

Press I> or <1 to select the front or back
side of the tape, and « or ^ to specify
the selection.

Press SET to program a selection.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 to program other
selections.

Press NORMAL to change the unit to
dubbing standby mode.

Select the side of the tape in deck B to be
dubbed.

To dub

on the front side,

press O.

To dub

on the reverse side,

press <3 .

You can press O to make a blank space of four
seconds or more on the tape in deck B before the
start of RMS dubbing. For details, see page 15.

Press RMS/START or II on deck B to start
dubbing.

RMS/START

Deck B enters recording pause mode while deck
A searches for the selection to be played. When
playback starts on deck A, dubbing automatically
starts on deck B. This is preceded by the
recording of a 10-second blank on the tape in
deck B if you begin dubbing right after:

•you insert the cassette into the deck.
•you fastwind the tape by pressing ◄◄ (or ►►)

allowing the deck to stop automatically when the
tape reaches the end.

To stop RMS dubbing
Press the ■ button on deck B. RMS dubbing stops and the
unit returns to RMS mode.
