FOOD KEEPING TIPS
• Cool hot dishes to room temperature
before placing them in your refrigerator.
(It saves your electricity)
Cover juicy foods with tight iids. Wrap fresh
meat, pouitry and fish in piastic film or alu
minum foil.
' Do not put Carbonated liquids (fizzy drinks,
etc) in the freezer compartment and chilied
room as they may freeze and burst.
• Leave sufficient room between the food
items to enabie cool air to circulate freely.
Blocking of the air flow will cause an
uneven temperature in the refrigerator
compartment.
• Do not keep the door open for a long time,
particularly in hot and humid weather.
(It reduces coldness and increases humidity)
' Always clean food prior to refrigeration.
Vegetables and fruits should be washed &
wiped dry before storing them in the refrig
erator.
' Always store milk and milk products like but
ter and cheese in their original packing.
