Connect one end of the AC

power adaptor (supplied) into

the DC IN 9V jack, and the other
end into an AC outlet.

To avoid accidental disconnection, be
sure to pass the AC power adaptor
cord around the hook as shown in the
illustration,

Plug one end of the telephone

line cord (supplied) into the TEL
LINE jack, and the other end into

a telephone outlet.

Fully extend the antenna.

Make sure it points toward the ceiling.

Notes on connecting

• Use only the AC power adaptor supplied.

Do not use any other AC power adaptor.

• Connect the AC power adaptor to a

continuous power supply.

• If your phone jack is not modular, contact

your telephone service company for
assistance.

■ To hang the base unit on a wall

Choose an appropriate wall surface that
can support the total weight of the base
unit and the handset. ,
Attach the hanger-piece upside down.

Choosing tone or
pulse dialing

For the telephone to work correctly, you
must .set it to the type of your dialing

system: tone or pulse dialing.

Set the DIAL MODE switch to:
"T" (Tone) if your dialing system is

tone.

"P" (Pulse) if your dialing system
is pulse.
