Reassemble the new friction wheel rubber to

the friction wheel assembly tightening the six

screws in rotation and with equal force.

Position the friction wheel assembly up onto

the pin of the shift rod assembly and slide the
shaft through the friction wheel. See Figure 30.

Slide the shaft into the hex I.D. of the sprocket,

the spacer and the left ball bearing and secure
with the bell washer and hex bolt.

WARNING: If any adjustments are made to
the engine while the engine is running (e.g.
carburetor), keep clear of all moving parts.

Be careful of heated surfaces and muffler.

If you think the carburetor needs to be adjusted, see

your nearest authorized Tecumseh Service Outlet.

Sears retail outlets, catalog and service centers. Most Sears stores can order repair parts for you when you
