Installing the Batteries and Checking the Battery Level
installing the Batteries
The camera uses two lithium CR123A (or DL123A) batteries.
j Open the battery compartment

cover.
* Slide cover release lever as shown
by the arrow and open the battery
compartment cover.
Insert the batteries.
® Make sure the battery contacts (+
and -) are oriented as shown on the
battery compartment cover.
» Do not mix old and new batteries.
Close the battery compartment
cover.
® Press the cover until it snaps shut.
^ For places where CR123A batteries may not be easily available, take spare
batteries with you. Also carry spare batteries for extended shooting sessions.
