POWER SUPPLY

This calculator comes with a duai power source solar cell
and lithium battery. The duration of a lithium battery
depends entirely on individual usage.

■ Electromagnetic Interference or electnsstatic discharge

may cause the display to malfunction or the contents of

the memory to be lost or altered. Should this occur,

press key and re-start your calculator from the
beginning. After resetting, be sure to set the tax rate
again.

DECIMAL POINT SELECTOR SWITCH

- Used for designating the decimal point

position (4 3 2 0) for calculated results.

' Addition and subtraction functions are

performed with an automatic 2-diglt decimal.

It Is convenient for currency calculations.

' All effective numbers up to 14 digits are

displayed.

KEY INDEX

On/Clear All Key

- Used to turning the

calculator “ON’Mt Is also used to clearing all
data, including memory contents.

Clear and Clear Indicator Key

- If pressed

once after numbers are entered, it clears only
the numbers that have just been entered.

(Clear Indicator Cl)

If pressed after one of the function keys has

been pressed, or pressed twice successively,

it clears all the calculations except the

memory. (Clear C)

- Used to changing the

sign (+ or -) of the displayed numbers.

Right Shift Key

- Used to shifting and

correcting an entered numeral. A single press

deletes the last digit on the right.

Square Root Key

- Used to performing

square root calculations.

Percent Plus-Minus Key

- Used to

performing percentage, add-on and discount

calculations.

Memory Plus Equal Key

- Used to obtaining

a calculation result and adding the result

automatically to the memory. This key Is also

used for adding number to the memory.

Memory Minus Equal Key

- Used to

obtaining a calculation result and subtracting

the result automatically from the memory. This

key is also used for subtracting a number from

the memory.

Recall and Clear Memory Key

- A double

function key. If pressed once. It recalls the

memory contents. If pressed twice

successively, it clears the memory contents.

OVERFLOW FUNCTION

In the following cases, when "E" Is displayed, the keyboard

Is electronically locked, and further operation Is Impossible.

Press E] to clear the overflow.

The overflow function occurs when:

1. The result or the memory content exceeds 14 digits to

the left of the decimal point.

2. Dividing by "0".
