Shutter Lock Dial
1 Safety Lock
: When the shutter lock dial is set at “OFF” the

shutter
release
is
locked
and
the
power
circuit
is
disconnected.
O Running Lock
:
Set
the
shutter
lock
dial
at
“RL”,
pull
the
^ trigger, and the camera will start running. You can release your
forefinger
from
the
trigger
and
the
camera
will
continue
running
until the dial is returned to “R” position.
Cable Release Socket
You can use the cable release socket for continuous running, close-
up work, titling or when the camera is set on a tripod.
Single Frame Release
Single
frame
photography
is
applied
to
shoot
animation
and
faked
pictures,
and
to
record
the
growth
of
plants.
It
is
performed
by
inserting the cable release into the single frame release socket.

Attach
the
camera
on
the
tripod,
set
the
shutter
lock
dial
at
'
“R”, and set the filming speed dial at “18”.
O
Pull
the
trigger
slightly
and
read
off
the
proper
f/stop
shown
^ by the exposure indicator.

Set
the
f/stop
manually
by
pulling
up
the
aperture
control
ring
and turning it counterclockwise.

Depress
the
cable
release
to
expose
one
frame
at
a
time,
and then release your finger from the cable release immediately.
