Use exposure compensation for intention­

ally underexposed or overexposed pic­

tures. The compensation range is up to

+ 1-2

stops in half-stop increments.

While pressing the exposure compensation

button, turn the electronic input dial until

the exposure level mark is set to the

desired exposure compensation amount.

Exposure compensation remains ac­

tive until canceled.

• To cancel

exposure compensation,

repeat the above procedure to return

the value to 0, or set the command dial

to the green zone or to any of the P.I.C.

modes.

• When used in the manual exposure

mode, the metered standard value is

also compensated.
