If you are using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, the first
time that you view your camera you will be prompted
to install software plug-in.

Note: Record and Snapshot functions are not available
because of Quicktime Player limitations.

Quicktime Setup

If you experience any problems viewing the camera
through Firefox, Chrome, or Safari browser, please
see the instructions below:

Open QuickTime, select Preferences , and Quicktime
Preferences from pull down menu.

•Click Advanced tab. On Transport Setup pull down menu,
choose Custom. Set Transport Protocol to HTTP and click
the Port 80 button. Click OK.

For Mac OS X 10.5, Quicktime Preferences are set from
System Preferences. With QuickTime Player open, select
QuickTime Preferences from the QuickTime Player pull
down menu.

•Advanced: From the Transport Setup pull down menu,
choose Custom. Set Transport Protocol
to HTTP and click the Port 80 button. Click OK.

For Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Instead of the
preference panel on QuickTime, users need to change
the setting using a command line in the Terminal program.

•Terminal is normally found in the Utilities folder under the
Applications folder. Please open the Terminal and enter
the following command:

qtdefaults write TransportSettings HTTP 80
