OTHER RECORDING FUNCTIONS

Recording an ID Photo

You can use this procedure to record a portrait and then
print a variety of different standard size ID photos. Note
that you need to use the BEST SHOT mode (page 93) to
record an ID photo.
• Printing an ID photo produces a single sheet containing

five ID photos of the following sizes.
30

× 24 mm (1.2˝ Ч 0.94˝), 40 Ч 30 mm (1.6˝ Ч 1.2˝),

45

Ч 35 mm (1.8˝ Ч 1.4˝), 50 Ч 40 mm (2.0˝ Ч 1.6˝),

55

Ч 45 mm (2.2˝ × 1.8˝)

In a REC mode, align the mode dial with “

”,

and then press [SET].

2.

Use [

̇] and [̈] to select the “ID Photo”

scene, and then press [SET].

3.

On the monitor
screen, compose the
image by positioning
the subject within the
on-screen frame, and
then press the shutter
button to record an
initial temporary
image.

• The initial temporary image is not stored in camera

memory. The final image is stored in camera
memory when you perform step 5.

4.

Adjust the position of the subject as
described below.

• Adjust the image so the head of the subject is

aligned with the head line at the top of the frame,
and the chin of the subject is aligned with the chin
line.

To do this:

Shift the subject up or down

Shift the subject left or right

Zoom in on the subject
(to make it larger)

Zoom out on the subject
(to make it smaller)

Select this setting:

Press [

Press [

̇] or [̈].

Move the zoom controller
