GAME SET-UP

The object of Yahtzee is to get the highest score while
attempting to achieve all thirteen scoring categories.

On each turn, you may roll the dice up to three times
at an attempt to score. After your first roll, you may
choose which dice you would like for “holders” and
which ones you would like to re-roll or enter to score.
On your second roll, you may re-roll any or all of the
dice you want — even the “holders” from the previous
roll. You do not need to declare which combination
you are rolling for; you may change your mind after
any roll. After the third roll, you must choose a
category on the red score bar for a score. If you cannot
score in any of the categories after your final roll, you
must choose one to be used and you will score a zero
for that category.

When scoring, use the Directional Controls to move
the cursor to a selection in the red score bar and the
enter button to confirm your selection. In two player
mode, once a player scores the player 2 icon will light
up indicating that it is player 2’s turn. In this mode,
players compete against each other for the high score.

During the scoring phase, if the subtotal of your
combined scores in the upper section is worth 63
points or more, you will earn a 35-point bonus to your
total score!

Once all thirteen scoring categories are attempted the
players’ points will be tallied up and the total score will
be displayed. See if you can beat your best score!

In Two-Player Yahtzee, the player with the highest score
at the end wins!
