OPERATING YOUR TS 8010 TOASTER

Before fi rst use, remove any promotional
material attached to your toaster.
1.

Insert the power plug into a 230/240 volt
power outlet and then turn the power on.

2.

The numerical LCD display on the control
panel will indicate setting ‘1’.

3.

Place up to 4 slices of bread, muffi

ns or

bagels into the bread slots.

4.

Select the desired browning setting using
the browning control dial. Colour settings
range from ‘1’ lightest to ‘9’ darkest.
When using the toaster for the fi rst time,
we suggest you toast on setting No. 4.
Varying types of bread and personal
preference may require a diff erent
browning setting, eg: raisin toast and
white light-textured breads may require a
lower setting, whilst heavier textured rye
breads may require a darker setting.

The toaster will remember your desired setting.
When the power is turned off to the toaster,
the digital control will default to your original
desired setting when next switched on.

NOTE

5.

Press the high lift lever down until it
clicks into place. Toasting cycle will
automatically commence. As the toasting
cycle progresses the LCD display will
count down and the toasting progress
indicator bars will go out until toasting is
complete.

If the toaster is not plugged in and switched on
at the power outlet, the high lift lever will not
click into place.

NOTE

6.

The TS 8010 Toaster has a patented
‘Lift and Look’ feature which does not
interrupt the cooking cycle. To check
on the toasting progression during the
cooking cycle, simply use the high lift
lever to raise and lower toast.

7.

The toaster turns off when the
desired toast colour is achieved and
automatically raises the toast. The
toasting process can be stopped at any
time by pressing the CANCEL button
located on the side of the toaster.

The display will automatically shut off if not
used for 5 minutes or more. Touching any of the
front buttons or toasting lever will re-illuminate
the display.

NOTE

High lift
To remove smaller items such as crumpets
and muffi

ns, lift the high lift lever

approximately 20mm above the starting
position.

In the unlikely event that the bread or
crumpet becomes jammed, switch the
power off at the power outlet. Remove the
power plug from the power outlet and then
carefully ease the bread out of the toaster,
ensuring that you do not damage the
element.

DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED WHEN IN USE AS TOAST MAY JAM
