1. It is very important never to immerse the motor unit in water and not to hold it under running water.

2. Do not clean the bowl attachments using a dishwasher

3. The unit should be cleaned after each use. The most important aspect is the careful cleaning of the bowl

attachments and the blade base. The interior of the attachments should be thoroughly wiped with a non-
fluffy, soft textile cloth, dampened slightly with lukewarm water. All parts should be completely dry before
the appliance is re-assembled.

4. Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned

surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry
completely before re-using or storing it.

5. Never use solvent to clean the appliance (acetone, benzene, gasoline, alcohol, etc) because they could eat

into the casing or get inside the appliance damaging the inner parts. Do not use rough or abrasive cleaning
agents.

6. Never remove the cover of the appliance.

7. If you don’t plan to use the appliance for a while after cleaning it, place it in a nylon bag and store it in a place

that is free from dust, damp and frost. Do not wrap the mains cable around the appliance when storing it
because the insulation can deteriorate or break under these circumstances.

instruction

Attention! This household appliance was designed for intermittent use. After a maximum of 1 minutes of
operation pause for at least 15 minutes, otherwise the appliance could be damaged. The manufacturer
will not be held liable for any failure of the appliance caused by or originating from exceeding the time
established for continuous operation or non compliance with the intervals prescribed for pausing

If the attachment becomes loose during operation, this may result in leaks or splashes under the unit. If this
happens, immediately turn the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains electricity supply, and then
check whether the lid of the attachment is broken.

Never operate the appliance while the chamber is empty.

If you put more into the appliance’s coffee chamber than prescribed, this could overload the motor causing
the appliance to breakdown.

Never insert ice cubes into the attachments. This product is not suitable for processing ice, and attempting to
do so may result in the attachments breaking of cracking.

The food or liquid inserted into the attachments should not exceed 60°C. Processing foods with an initial
temperature greater than 60°C may damage the unit!

Be sure not to grind substances excessively finely as their flavour and aroma could be lost.

Bear in mind that processing food with an aroma, such as coffee, may leave an after taste that is noticeable
when you process certain types of food. For this reason, we do not recommend using the appliance to make
food such as shakes or mashes. Certain types of food with strong natural colouring, such as carrots, may stain
plastic parts; this does not impair the use of the product.

Do not use the coffee chamber for storage; do not store substances to grind, or ground substances in it. After
using the appliance, the coffee chamber must be emptied straight away.

After use, clean the appliance immediately. Failing to do so may result in food becoming mouldy or
hardening on the blades, which may cause corrosion or other damage to the unit.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug must be
removed from the wall socket.
