3. Switch on the appliance by turning the speed control switch. The fan operates at a moderate rotary speed in
the 1st speed position, at a medium rotary speed in the 2nd speed position and at maximum speed in the 3rd
speed position. (Positions highlighted around the switch with the same numbers indicate the same speed.)
4. You can activate the air directing function adjusting the switch into the position MOVE. The function can be
switched off by turning the switch into the position STOP.
5. To switch off the appliance, turn the speed control switch to the ‘0’ position. When not in operation, the
connector should be removed from the wall socket.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug must be
removed from the wall socket.
Important! Never dip the equipment in water or hold it under running water while cleaning it.
• Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned
surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry
completely before re-using or storing it.
• Remove dust from the grills of the guard screen by using a vacuum-cleaner.
• When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve
the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.
• If you do not wish to use the appliance for a while, put it in a plastic bag and store it in a dry, dust-free, frost-
free place.
