Celebrating 15 years

of Progress and Innovation.

Fifteen years ago, Chariot was just six friends hand building
child trailers in a small wood working shop in Calgary,
Canada. Today we’re still in Calgary, however we are now a
team of about 200 people working in a new 65,000 square
foot high-tech facility. For making this progress possible, much of the credit needs to go to all
our employees, customers, retailers, distributors, friends and supporters - thank you!

Needless to say, the past 15 years has been a great and fun ride, one packed with unlimited
excitement and challenge. And while our products have evolved, and the business has grown,
Chariot continues to be as dedicated as ever to designing and building the finest child carrier
products in the world - today, and well into the future. Enjoy!

To mark our 15th anniversary Chariot has introduced
a new Special Edition X-Country carrier, the CSL. As a
tie-in to the past, this innovative and lightweight carrier
shares a few key characteristics with our first-ever
model, the Cabriolet. For example, they both use
Chariot’s patented folding design, they both convert
from a trailer to a jogging stroller (however the CSL has
3 other available conversions), and they are both green!

These past similarities aside, the CSL is all about the
future. By incorporating high-tech materials such as
ODL04

racing sailcloth and Energlo

®

photo-luminescent

(glow-in-the-dark) fabric, and with components such
as 20” racing wheels and a wireless speedometer, the
CSL is definitely forward thinking! To learn more about
the innovative CSL, visit page 21.

Go Green!

Peter and Andrea Tombrowski have been living car-free in Calgary, Alberta, Canada since 1998.
Their book, Urban Camping: A Testament to Living Without a Vehicle, describes their rewarding
and inspirational life. The Tombrowski’s have two young children, Lucas (8) and Natalia (6).
Indispensable for their many trips throughout the city are their single and double Chariot carriers.
As their children get older and become more capable of walking long distances, the carriers
get used more frequently for cargo (eg: groceries).

The Tombrowski family embraces their car-free choice for environmental reasons and because
it allows them to live a more purposeful, healthy life. They strive to be positive, working with
what they have. With their Chariot carriers, the Tombrowski’s provide an excellent example of
how it is possible to reduce one’s vehicle-dependency in a large city.
