ISSPRO Hourmeter Instructions

Connecting Meter and Pressure Switch:

For battery equipped systems with magneto ignition, connect one wire to any
convenient point on the engine or vehicle frame. Connect the other wire to
either terminal of ISSPRO’s Pressure Switch. Connect the other lead of the
pressure switch to the hot side of the ammeter, generator, or battery. For
pressure switch installation, refer to the instructions with the ISSPRO switch.

Connecting Meter by Other Methods:
For battery powered ignition systems, connect one wire to any convenient point
on the engine or vehicle frame. Connect the other wire to the ignition switch.

Information:
This meter has been designed to withstand vibration, however, it should
preferably be mounted in a location where there is a minimum amount of
vibration, such as an instrument panel. Where excessive vibration is
encountered, a vibration damper should be used. A damper designed for this
meter is available.

On magneto ignition systems, the pressure switch must be used. In normal
operation, the meter may continue to operate for a short time after the power is
turned off. For standard meter use, cut out and bolt circle as shown. For a
clamp mounted meter, use a 2.00” diameter hole only.
