VMOD to Piggyback
Connectors (User
side) A double-row (to/from user I/O side) set of connec-
tors per piggyback location. These connectors are
galvanically isolated for 2.5 kV (not on index 00
however) from the rest of the VMOD-2 circuits and
are selected to their respective function according
to actual piggyback(s) fitted.
VMEbus Connector DIN 41612 style C, 96-pin
Front Panel Width 4 TE (20.3 mm)(1 slot)
Front Panel Connec-
tor 50-pin male ribbon cable header with retain/eject
latches. Alternatively, no front connector, but a 50-
pin on-board header (without retain/eject latches
where interfaces are to be kept internal to rack/
equipment.

fications.

a triple-row and double-row set of headers, provid-
ing all necessary communication paths and a
mechanical mounting method.
