To connect the EZ3-VX304x-00-L 3U VPX
Intel or x86 Computer, you need to connect

Play - Start the system
The ON/OFF button

rear panel of the EZ3-VX304x-00-L system.

Play – Evaluate the system

Pre-Installed Benchmark:
Lmbench is a suite of benchmark interesting
especially for memory bandwith and
latency. To launch the benchmark, the path
is
/usr/share/vx304x_benchmark

PBIT(Power on Built In Test):
Tests a computer platform prior to launch
the main software. Can be launched from
the BIOS and quickly evaluated using its
interactive mode. PBIT is optional for each
SBC and is always part of Easy Evaluation
Systems.

EZ3-VX304x-00-L has several Ethernet
ports configured, named

.
All of them are configured with a private
static IP which depends on the board geoid.

(gigabit Ethernet / hardware name:
ETH on front panel) is configured on the
192.168.0 network.
vxeth0
(VxFabric TCP/IP on PCIe) is
configured on the 192.168.10 network. As
the board is alone on the backplane, this port
is useless (EZ3-VX3044-A0-L use case
only).
4System Storage
System is installed on the soldered 32 GB
SATA flash. Storage is organised with a
small
/boot
partition and large
/and/home
partitions spanning the rest of the disk.
4Serial Line / Console Output
EZ3-VX304x-00-L front panel serial line is
managed by Linux and a login prompt is
offered on it .
Characteristics of the serial line:
Baudrate: 115200 - Parity:None -
Data Bits: 8 - Stop Bit: 1
Flow Control: None
Display
Graphical display is provided through the
DiplayPort connector. However boot loa
ding is only displayed through
ttys0
console.
Play - Stop the system
