TOOLS REQUIRED: Drill, ¼” Drill Bit, 3/16 ” Drill Bit, Rivet Gun, Pliers
1. With your drill and a ¼” drill bit, drill out the two dimple marks on the hatch rim, at the Bow end of the
hatch. See Fig. # 1

2. Knot one end of the Hatch Rope and run it up through one of the holes you just drilled. Stretch it over to
and down through the next hole. Tie a knot in the end of it. You knots should be inside the hull. See
