iCharger User Calibration
Your iCharger has been calibrated before you receive it, but if you find that there is a need for
calibration, you can recalibrate it by following these simple steps.
Note: These instructions are suitable for all iCharger models, but only for firmware version 3.09 or
higher.
To calibrate your iCharger, you will need:
 For best results, a 4½ digital multimeter; otherwise the most accurate voltmeter available
 A power source providing a stable input voltage
 A battery pack with measured cell voltages
Calibration method:
1. While holding the <Stop><Dec><Inc><Start> buttons, power on your iCharger. Immediately
release the buttons when you hear 3 beeps from the iCharger.
2. Connect the battery to the iCharger main charge port and the balance port.
3. Hold the <Stop> button for 3 seconds to access the monitor mode screen. On this screen you
can calibrate input and output voltages, internal and external temperature.
4. Hold the <Dec><Inc><Start> buttons for 3 seconds to enter calibration mode, then press the
<Inc> button to navigate to the value you wish to calibrate. The selected value will blink,
alternating between displaying the current reading and the amount of calibration adjustment.
5. Adjust the calibration amount with the <Inc> or <Dec> buttons as needed to match the value to
the correct voltage/temperature.
6. When all values are calibrated correctly, press <Stop> to quit from calibration mode.
7. To calibrate individual cell voltages, press the <Inc> button to display the cell screen. If
necessary, press the <Inc> button again to cycle through the cells until the cell you need to
calibrate is displayed.
8. Hold the <Dec><Inc><Start> buttons for 3 seconds to enter calibration mode. The cell voltages
will begin to blink, alternating between displaying the voltage value and the amount of
calibration adjustment.
9. Adjust the calibration value with the <Inc> or <Dec> buttons as needed to match the displayed
voltage to the voltage measured on your multimeter, then press <Start> to apply the change.
10. When all cells are calibrated correctly, press <Stop> to quit from calibration mode.
Warning:
When calibrating, you must have an accurate measurement of the voltage to calibrate to.
Incorrect calibration can damage the battery and lead to serious danger. The manufacturer and its
representatives are not responsible for any damage or injury caused by user error in calibration.
Note:
Firmware versions 3.09 and 3.10 have bugs that affect “Vo” calibration. Versions 3.11 and higher have
resolved these issues; we always recommend updating your iCharger to the latest firmware version
available.
