4 ScaleCore 2 Database Operator’s Manual
Typical serial connection parameters are shown in Figure 4-2.

1. Select the serial port name of the local computer port that the ScaleCore device is connected to.
2. Press OK to open the connection.
3. Ethernet and Wi-Fi (802.11) communications require the IP address and port number of the ScaleCore device.
The address is specific to the device installation. The port is typically 2101.
