SmartNet II

Smart Power Systems Inc. is an engineering and
manufacturer of power quality products. The new
SmartNet II is the only data line and signal protector
with easy installation for telephone equipment/DSL
(RJ11), network (RJ45), big screen tv/cable (coaxial)
and CCTV/security system (BNC).

FOR SAFETY AND OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE,
THE SMARTNET SHOULD BE PROPERLY
GROUNDED.

THE USE OF THE SMARTNET IN LIFE SU-
PPORT APPLICATIONS WHERE FAILURE OF
THE SMARTNET IS EXPECTED TO CAUSE THE
FAILURE OF THE LIFE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

Installation

The SmartNet protects your equipment from surges that come
through the data and signal line. To ensure that your equipment
is completely protected, use a TBF™ power filter or UPS-TBF
from Smart Power Systems.

1) SmartNet must be installed as close as possible to the
equipment to be protected.
2. Turn off all equipment.
3 Unplug the RJ11/45, Coaxial or BNC cable from the equip-
ment you want to protect and plug into the "IN" jack on the
SmartNet II. Plug the other end to the network jack or cable
wall jack.
4. Plug the provided network cable (RJ11 or RJ45 only) to the
"OUT" jack on the SmartNet II. Plug the other end of the pro-
vided network cable into the equipment you want to protect.
5. Connect the SmartNet unit to ground. See instructions on
pages 8-11.
