Gently open the document eject tray extension toward you.
NOTE
Be sure to open the document eject tray extension. Otherwise,
ejected originals may fall down and cause paper jams.
IMPORTANT
After recording has finished and when not using the document
recorder, close the paper feed tray and document eject tray
extension to avoid damage to the document recorder.
Setting the Document Eject Guide
To avoid paper jams when scanning thin or long documents, set the document eject guide supplied with the
document recorder.

Hold the edge of the document eject tray extension and
open it.

Attach the auxiliary paper support plate to the document
eject tray extension.
