Pocket Guide
 Verify that the sensor is placed below the mattress, under the
chest area, or that the chair sensor cushion is secured
correctly to the back of the seat.

Admit the patient: Enter ID, Room and Bed no. Assign the
patient by choosing your color.
 Assess the patient and adjust the parameters on EarlySense
Bed-Side as relevant :
 Patient in risk of fall / wandering Enable Bed Exit Alert.
Set the alert sensitivity.

Patient under Turn Protocol  Enable Patient Turn
Counter

Change in HR high / Low threshold required? Consult
supervisor

Change in RR high / low thresholds required? Consult
supervisor

Choose the correct mode according
to the patient’s location.

During hospitalization - adjust the parameters to the patient’s
condition if needed.
 Is the patient leaving? Discharge the patient.
