Warning:

While a software update is taking place it is very important for you not to

remove the

Clickfree

C2N Home Backup Drive from your computer and not to

turn off or restart the computer until the update is complete.

3. When the software update is complete, you must unplug the

Clickfree

C2N Home

Backup Drive and plug it in again for the update to take effect.

Master Reset

is used to remove all backed-up content from all computers that have been

backed up on your C2N Home Backup Drive, and to apply factory settings – see “What
are ‘factory settings’ and how do I use them?” on page 61.

After you perform a

Master Reset

you can no longer restore any previously backed-up

content. However, your C2N Home Backup Drive can still be used for new backups.

Note:

Clickfree

never erases anything other than the backups it has performed.

If you want to remove only the content that was backed up from one computer, see “To
remove a computer
” on page 61.

To remove all backed up content:

1. On the

Tools

screen click

Master Reset

.

2. If you really want to remove all backed-up content from

Clickfree

, check the

checkbox and click

Reset

.
