USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug unit from the outlet when not in use or before cleaning. NEVER
IMMERSE HEATING BODY IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID!
2. Allow the rice cooker to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Remove inner pot and lid and wash them in hot soapy water, rinse com-
pletely, then dry them with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning com-
pounds. A cloth, a sponge or rubber spatula will usually remove the residue.
4. Clean outside of cooker with a clean damp cloth. Never clean any part
of the cooker with abrasive cleaner. Use a damp cloth or sponge with water
and mild dish detergent. Wipe dry. Do not submerge any part of cooker in
water.
5. To clean the heating plate and thermo-control plate, use steel wool to
polish or remove any residue or stains. Then wipe with a damp cloth. Allow
to dry completely before re-using. You must keep the heating plate and
thermo-control plate free from any foreign objects; otherwise the cooker will
not operate properly.
6. Improper cleaning of cooker may cause unpleasant odors.
7. Any residue of vinegar or salt may cause pan to corrode.
PROCEDIMIENTOS DE MANTENIMIENT O
1. Desenchufe la unidad del tomacorriente cuando no este en uso o antes
de limpiar. NUNCA INMERSA EL CUERPO CALENTADOR DE LA OLLA
ARROCERA EN AGUA U OTRO LIQUIDO!
2. Permita que la olla arrocera se enfríe completamente antes de limpiarla.
3. Remueva el recipiente interno y la tapa de vidrio y lávelas con agua
caliente jabonosa, enjuage completamente y luego seque con un paño
suave. No utilice un limpiador abrasivo. Utilice un paño, una esponja o una
espatula de plástico con agua usualmente removerá cualquier residuo.
4. Limpie el exterior de la olla arrocera con un paño humedo. Nunca limpie
ninguna parte de la olla arrocera con un limpiador abrasivo.Utilice un paño
o una esponja humedecidos con agua y detergente suave para lavar pla-
tos. Séque completamente. No sumerja ninguna parte de la olla arrocera
en agua.
5. Para limpiar la placa de calentamiento y la placa de control térmico,
utilice una esponja para pulir o retirar cualquier residuo. Luego limpie con
un paño húmedo. Deje secar completamente antes de volver a utilizar.
Debe mantenerse la placa de calentamiento y la placa de control térmico
libres de cualquier objeto extraño ya que de lo contrario la olla arrocera no
funcionará adecuadamente.
6. La limpieza inadecuada de la olla arrocera podría causar que se produz-
can olores desagradables.
7. Cualquier residuo de vinagre o sal puede causar que la olla se corroa.
PRECAUCIÓN
ANTES DE INICIAR LA COCCIÓN, LIMPIE LA PAR TE INFERIOR DE LA
OLLA DE COCCIÓN Y LA SUPERFICIE DE LA PLACA DE CALENTA-
MIENTO. LUEGO GIRE LA OLLA DE COCCIÓN EN EL SENTIDO DE LAS
AGUJAS DEL RELOJ Y EN EL SENTIDO CONTRARIO A LAS AGUJAS
DEL RELOJ P ARA ENCAJARLA ADECUADAMENTE SOBRE LA PLACA
DE CALENTAMIENT O DENTRO DE LA BASE. DE LO CONTRARIO, LA
OLLA NO FUNCIONARÁ O PODRÍA DAÑARSE.
CAUTION
BEFORE STARTING TO COOK, CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE INNER
POT AND THE SURFACE OF THE HEATER PLATE, THEN TURN THE
INNER POT CLOCKWISE AND COUNTERCLOCKWISE SO THAT IT SITS
PROPERLY ONTO THE HEATER PLATE INSIDE THE RICE COOKER.
OTHERWISE, THE RICE COOKER WILL NOT WORK OR WILL BE DAM-
AGED.
