IMPORTANT:

¾ To ensure this product is installed properly, you

must read and follow these guidelines.

¾ The owner/user of this product must keep this

information for future reference.

¾ The faucet must be onsite prior to rough-in and

allows the installer to visualize the installation and
match the 8" center spread.

¾ Be sure your installation conforms to federal state,

and local codes. In the State of Massachusetts, all
installations must comply with the rules and
regulations set forth within 248 CMR.

¾ This product must be installed by a professional

licensed contractor.

¾ Inspect this product to ensure you have all the parts

required for proper installation.

¾ Use only a strap wrench or protected/smooth-jaw

wrench on any finished surface.

¾ DO NOT use putty on fittings.

ROUGH-IN:

¾ Rough-in Depth from center of inlets to surface of

finished wall is 3-1/4" Minimum and 5-1/4" Maximum.

¾ Rough-in Height: 3-3/4" minimum from center of

cartridge stem to surface of countertop to allow for
lever handle clearance in the open position.

¾ See Figure - 01 for steps 1-6

1.

Run 1/2" hot and cold supply lines. The spread
between supplies is 8" on center and is NOT
adjustable.

2. Pre-solder a 1/2" male NPT x 1/2" Sweat adapter

(not supplied) to a small piece of 1/2" copper pipe
prior to threading into the valve body.

3. Thread the adapters into the valve and attach to the

supplies using 1/2" couplings (not supplied).

4. Verify the supplies are secure, level, and at the

proper spread of 8" and at equal depths prior to
making final solder connections.

5. Install a 1/2" NPT nipple (not supplied) to

temporarily serve as a spout.

6. Verify the supplies and valve body are secure, then

turn on the supplies and check for leaks.
