These guidelines have been prepared for the professional contractor to aid in the installation of:
LUDLOW HANDSHOWER ON HOOK (STYLE# LDHS01) & HANDSHOWER ON BAR (STYLE#
LDHS10) All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Connection Type: 1/2" Female NPT
Recommended Pressure: 45psi
Restricted Maximum Flow Rate: 2.0gpm

IMPORTANT:

¾ A diverter or wall valve (sold separately) control

on/off/volume and must be installed for each fitting
that will have water flowing to it.

¾ To ensure this product is installed properly, you

must read and follow these guidelines.

¾ The owner/user of this product must keep this

information for future reference.

¾ Be sure your installation conforms to federal state,

and local codes. In the State of Massachusetts, all
installations must comply with the rules and
regulations set forth within 248 CMR.

¾ This product must be installed by a professional

licensed contractor and must be onsite prior to
rough-in, this allows the installer to visualize the
installation.

¾ Proper blocking in the wall is required.

¾ Inspect this product to ensure you have all the parts

required for proper installation.

¾ Use only a strap wrench or protected/smooth-jaw

wrench on any finished surface.

¾ The use of certain plumber's putty can stain stone or

tile surfaces

SUPPLY ELBOW INSTALL:

¾ See Figure 1 for Steps 1 & 2.

Determine the ideal location for the Ludlow
Handshower and stub out of the wall with a 1/2" NPT
nipple.

2. Hold the ESCUTCHEON to the wall with O-RING

behind it and thread the SUPPLY ELBOW to an
appropriate length 1/2 NPT NIPPLE (NOT
SUPPLIED) and make sure ESCUTCHEON is pulled
tight to the finished wall.

HANDSHOWER BAR INSTALLATION (LDHS10 ONLY):

¾ See Figure 2 & Figure 3 for Steps 3-8.

3. Determine the ideal location for the HANDSHOWER

BAR that is close enough to the SUPPLY ELBOW.

4. Slide the ESCUTCHEONS up the ACCESSORY

POSTS to give access to the ACCESSORY SCREWS.
Dry fit the HANDSHOWER BAR to the wall and mark
ideal location , at a center-to-center dimension of
24", making sure the bar is level.

5. Unthread ACCESSORY SCREWS to remove the

WALL MOUNT PLATES.

6. Mount both WALL MOUNT PLATES, using the

ANCHORS and WALL SCREWS at the locations
marked in Step 4.

7. Simultaneously insert both ACCESSORY POSTS into

each WALL MOUNT PLATE and secure with
ACCESSORY SCREWS.

8. Slide the ESCUTCHEONS back down the

ACCESSORY POSTS and push firmly onto groove of
the WALL PLATES to secure. Note: you may need to
rotate the escutcheon while pressing firmly to finish
this installation.
