These guidelines have been prepared for the professional contractor to aid in the installation of:
UNIVERSAL LAVATORY WALL MOUNTED ROUGH
STYLE NOS. GULV25, GU25LV (UK), GULV27, GU27LV (UK).
All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.

IMPORTANT:

¾ To ensure this product is installed properly, you must

read and follow these guidelines.


¾ The owner/user of this product must keep this

information for future reference.

¾ Handles and spout sold separately.

¾ The difference between the GULV25 and the GULV27

is the cold cartridge function which opens clockwise
on the GULV25 and counter-clockwise on the
GULV27.

¾ This product must be installed by a professional

licensed contractor.

¾ This product must be on-site prior to rough-in. This

allows the installer to visualize the installation and
match the 8” center spread.

¾ Check all federal, state, and local building and

plumbing codes to ensure that your installation

conforms to all applicable requirements. In the State
of Massachusetts, all installations must comply with
the rules and regulations set forth within 248 CMR.

¾ Check countertop and sink measurements to assure

the spout projects far enough into sink.


¾ Inspect this product to assure you have all the

parts

required for proper installation.

ROUGH-IN:
¾ Rough-in Depth: 3-1/4" (83mm) minimum from

center of the inlets to surface of finished wall. See
Figure -01.

¾ Rough-in Height: Must allow for a minimum 1 1/2"

(38mm) air gap between the end of spout and
countertop and also provide handles enough
clearance in the full open position. This will vary
depending on the trim used.

Run 1/2" (15mm) hot and cold copper supply lines to
the proper height of valve inlets. The spread
between supplies is 8” on center and is NOT
adjustable.
