Pecan Sweet Potatoes

A great addition to the Thanksgiving table, or any time of the year.

Makes 6 servings

pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into ¾-inch pieces

(about 2 medium potatoes)

tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

teaspoons ground cinnamon

teaspoon ground cloves

teaspoon ground ginger

tablespoons pure maple syrup, divided

½

cup toasted pecans

½

teaspoon sea salt

Preheat the Cuisinart

®

Griddler

Jr. in the open position to high. In a large bowl, combine the

potatoes with the butter, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and 1 tablespoon of the maple syrup; toss to

coat.
When the Griddler

Jr. is hot, arrange the potatoes on both sides of the grill plates. Grill, turning

every 4 to 5 minutes, for a total of 15 to 18 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
Transfer the grilled potatoes to a large bowl. Toss with the remaining maple syrup, pecans and

salt. Adjust seasonings if desired.

Grilled Portobello Salad
