DC-1 Digital Caliper

The DC-1 is a precision measuring instrument built with stainless steel parts and a rugged ABS body.

OPERATION:

1. Loosen locking screw to allow movement of slider.

2. Press and release OFF/ON button.

3. Press mm/inch button to switch between

measurement units.

4. Close measuring jaws using light measuring pres-

sure and press ZERO button to reset display to 0.00.

5. Measure part as shown in Figures 1 through 4.

MAINTENANCE:

1. Handle with care. Avoid exposure to dirt, moisture,

and extreme temperatures.

2. Keep DC-1 clean and dry for proper performance.


Clean with a dry, soft, cotton cloth. Do not use
water or cleaning solutions.

3. To save battery power, turn off DC-1 when idle.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
Flashing digits in the display indicates the battery needs replacement. Remove the battery cover as shown in
Figure 5. Replace battery (SR44 button cell) with positive side facing out.
